Miss Katarzyna (Kasia) Studnicka-Perkin is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand and wrist conditions, seeing private patients across North Wales, Chester and Liverpool — alongside her substantive NHS practice at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
Mrs Studnicka-Perkin graduated from medical school in Poland in 2005 and completed the majority of her postgraduate training in the UK, progressing through Foundation Training in East Anglia, Accident & Emergency training in Glasgow, and Core and Specialist Training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery in the Mersey Deanery, where she was awarded the Klennerman Gold Medal for outstanding achievement.
She now practices as a substantive Consultant at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board — treating trauma to limbs and spine at Ysbyty Gwynedd, and elective hand, wrist and elbow problems at Llandudno General Hospital — alongside a growing private practice across North Wales and the North West of England.
She also serves as Educational Lead for the Trauma and Orthopaedic department, responsible for the training of the department's orthopaedic trainees and running a regular teaching programme — work she takes as seriously as her own surgical practice, helping shape the next generation of consultants.

She holds an MSc in Orthopaedic Engineering from Cardiff University, an International Diploma in Mountain Medicine gained in Nepal, and provides medico-legal expert witness reports on hand and wrist injuries. She is currently completing the Bond Solon Cardiff University Medico-Legal Certificate.
